No Image Uploads
All image conversion is performed locally on your device by Webp2JPG. Images you convert are never uploaded to our servers, stored, or shared.
No Personal Data Collection
Webp2JPG is a Windows desktop application, not a browser-based tool. Once installed, all image conversion runs entirely on your device — we do not collect names, email addresses, or the files you convert.
Pro Purchases
If you choose to unlock Pro (premium) features, the purchase is processed directly by PayPal. We receive an order confirmation to generate and deliver your license key — we never see or store your payment card details, which PayPal handles directly.
Analytics & Installation Telemetry
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand general usage patterns, such as page views and basic interaction metrics. This information is collected in an anonymized form and is used solely to improve the usability and performance of the website.
Additionally, when the desktop application is installed, it may send a one-time, anonymous request to our server solely to count the total number of active software installations. This request does not contain any personally identifiable information (PII), device IDs, or location data, and is used strictly for aggregate statistical purposes.
Cookies
Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies to collect anonymous usage data. We do not use cookies for advertising, remarketing, or user profiling.
Third-Party Services
Aside from Google Analytics, we do not integrate third-party services that collect or process personal user data.
